Equinox is an interesting double dyed ribbon that is half wool and nylon and half shiny rayon. Like all of Prisms Yarns double dyed yarns, the skeins go through two different dyeing processes. The first dyes the wool and nylon half of the ribbon, while the rayon stays white. The next dyes the rayon half, and since Prism Yarns turns the skeins and dye different colors, the end result is a rich mix of color layered upon color. The yarn has excellent yardage and knits into very light weight garments with good memory.
