To function properly a bag must have room at the bottom to expand when filled with things. Flat envelopes will not do! The easy solution is to start with a flat strip at the bottom. The size of this strip as well as the overall height of the sizes determines the size of the bag.

Size: Cell phone/Eyeglass holder about 4.5 x 7.5 inches. Purse about 9 x 7 inches. Tote about 18 x 15 inches.

Yarn Requirements: Worsted weight cotton 74 (222, 666) yards. 74 yards of contrast color for trim.

Needles: Size G (4.0 mm) crochet hook.

Gauge: 8 sc and 9 rows = 2 inches (5 cm)
