Joanne designed this sweater for her friend Cleo, who likes to work on small, portable pieces of knitting. The entire garment is worked in narrow strips then knit together with a 3-needle cast off.
Size: One size with fit notes to adjust. This sweater is designed to fit loosely and will fit a wide range of body measurements. The width of the underarm panels can be easily changed to customize the fit to your body if needed. Finished Bust Measurement: 50" (127cm). Finished Length: 24" (61cm).
Yarn Requirements: Main Yarn (MC): 1250 yards (1143m) of heavy worsted weight (12 ply) yarn that will knit to the gauge given below. Contrast Yarn (CC): 150 yards (137 meters) of worsted weight.
Needles: At least two 24" (60cm) circular needles in US size 7 (4.5mm) and additionally a needle at least 2 sizes larger for the collar cast off. Gauge: 18 sts and 25 rows = 4" (10cm) stockinette stitch.
