The body of this jacket is made first and felted to a thick, warm fabric then borders and sleeves are added.

Size: Finished chest size 43 (47, 52) inches, length 23 (24, 25) inches.

Yarn Requirements: Approximately 860 (960, 1060) yards bulky weight for the body, 600 (650, 700) yards for the sleeves. 200 (230, 250) yards for the collars.

Needles: US size 11 (8 mm) 24 or 32 inch (60 - 80 cm) circular for the body. 24 inch (60 cm) circular size 9 and 7 (5.5, 4.5 mm) for the sleeves and collar, and a set of double pointed in size 7 for the cuffs. One additional 24 inch smaller circular needle.

Gauge: 12 sts = 4 inches (10 cm) before felting.
