Simple lace patterns are used to create these lovely washcloth and soap sack sets. The soap sacks are knit in the round and hug soaps of various sizes. They can be tied with a twisted cord or satin ribbon. Designed by Evelyn Clark.

Finished Sizes: Soap sacks, folded 3 x 5 inches (8 x 13 cm). Washcloths 7 x 10 inches (18 x 25 cm)

Yarn Requirements: Approximately 125 yards of fingering weight cotton for each set.

Needles: US size 4 (3.5 mm) for all pieces. Ribbon Lace and Leaf Lace Washcloths use straight needles. Old Shale washcloth requires a set of double pointed and a 16 inch circular. For soap sacks use double pointed or a circular 32 or 40 inch needles and the Magic Loop method.
